In November 2018, Sarah began volunteering as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA). She left her CASA role after noticing families being separated due to poverty-related factors. Wanting to support these families with basic needs that can keep families united, Sarah formed the Together for Families program with Advocates for Children in November 2021.
