DESCRIPTION:Downtown Newnan\, Georgia and LaGrange Street are known for many things; the hundred year old hardwoods that lined the streets and sidewalks. These beautiful hardwoods  were the backdrops for family photos\, noted landmarks\, shade for children playing and simply brought joy to our community. These beloved trees were all completely destroyed by an EF4 tornado in the early hours of March 26th.The Rotary Club of Newnan in conjunction with the Newnan High School Interact Club is hosting a Tree Drive for the City of Newnan.  The goal of this project is to plant and nourish new hardwoods for our community and to link our Interact Club with other Clubs at the high school to provide an additional way to serve our community.
