 Howard lead the prayer  Golf Updates: Cindy reported that the golf tournament will clear about 15,000 to be split between Rotary and CASA. Jana and Cindy will work out the details of the money. Items of concern: Beer Winch needs to be seen more, Registration needed to be more organized, signs need to include the hole numbers. The tournament had 4 Foursomes donated. Rotary will include a thank you note to go along with the signs that CASA will give out.  Financial Updates: Jana reported that she purchased the updated version of QuickBooks for $399.00. The new accounts (saving and checking) are opened. We opened the saving with a $1000 and checking with $1060 and a deposit today will include $7285. There are still a few checks not cleared to close the old accounts and transfer the money to the new ones.  Dictionaries: Madge is waiting for Jason G. to provide how many 3rd graders will be enrolled for the upcoming year. It averages between 2300-2500. She will wait on the number before ordering dictionaries.  Back Pack Program: Madge and volunteer are helping as well as Ivy and Kelly from her office. Discussion was brought up to do a service project for Calvary Group Home. Ivy included this question in the thank you note from the club. Emelia also will check into how and where to host a Happy Hour for new member enrollment. Madge also suggested putting signs up in the Seven Hills/Bentwater area.  Storage Unit was nulled, because Madge will provide her building at her office for all Rotary items to be stored there. The club will purchase totes, shelving, etc. Emelia made a motion and Madge seconded it. All were in favor.  Other Service Projects: Coat drive, Toy drive, and Socks for Seniors during Christmastime. We are not doing Paulding Meadows this year, because the Women’s Club gave our slot to Paulding High School. (waiting list). Emelia wanted to know if the club was interested in purchasing a table for the CareLink Gala. We would need 8 (4 couples or singles). We tabled for next meeting when more were present.  Announcements: Nicole Williams has decided now is not a good time for her to be a member. Mary Carol’s mom has had a stroke and is in the hospital. Howard’s mom will have surgery tomorrow on her ankle. (keep their families in your thoughts and prayers).  Next Meeting: July 27, 2021 – Speaker is Sandy Gamble, New VP of Programs for the Chamber.  Ivy lead 4 Way Test, meeting adjourned.
