Club News Moultrie Honors Students Headed to Military ServiceBy Jaclyn Donovan The Rotary Club of Moultrie recently hosted its sixth annual "Salute to Service" program honoring the local high school seniors who have committed to military service after graduation. This year the club recognized 10 students enlisting with the United States Army and the United States Marine Corps, along with one student who be entering service after attending the United States Merchant Marine Academy. |

Henry Walker III ScholarshipBy Antoinette Hammond The Rotary Club of Griffin is proud to announce Jon Walker Blalock, a senior at Spalding High School, as the recipient of the 2026 J. Henry Walker III Scholarship, a $5,000 scholarship awarded annually to a deserving Spalding County student. The scholarship honors the life and legacy of J. Henry Walker III, a distinguished Griffin businessman whose remarkable achievements included success as a collegiate athlete, business leader, community servant, and dedicated Rotarian for more than five decades, including service as Rotary Club president from 1969–1970. |
