Lake Spivey/Clayton County Attends Membership Summit

The Rotary Club of Lake Spivey/Clayton County was well represented at the recent Rotary District 6900 Membership Summit. Members walked away with fresh ideas, inspiration, and renewed energy for service.

President Elect Michelle Roberts and Public Image Chair and Board Member Trina Kolawole attended on behalf of the club. Throughout the summit, they explored innovative membership strategies, creative engagement tools, and successful stories from clubs across the district. The sessions were both uplifting and practical, offering new ways to strengthen membership while highlighting the impact Rotary continues to make in our communities.

The event also provided meaningful opportunities for fellowship. Michelle and Trina connected with Rotarians from across District 6900, exchanging best practices and celebrating the shared mission of Service Above Self.

In addition to the rich programming, our club was honored with two major recognitions:

  • 2024–2025 Club Excellence Award for fostering a positive experience for members and upholding the values of Rotary.
  • Membership Action Plan Milestone Award, recognizing the outstanding work and dedication in achieving net membership growth and expanding the spirit and influence of Rotary.

From the photos, you can see the pride and joy in receiving these honors, as well as the enthusiasm of a summit filled with learning, connection, and motivation.

Our club is excited to carry these insights forward as we continue to grow, engage, and serve Clayton County and beyond.
