With a focus on Service Above Self, the Roswell Rotary Club realized that it was not publicly recognizing fellow Rotarians when they showed up professionally for another member! In December President Trummie Lee Patrick III asked Kathy Igou (Rotascope Editor) to add a new section to our weekly newsletter after a conversation with Roswell Rotarian Hal Schlenger who was complimenting fellow RRC member Joe Mazzeo, a master plumber, for his prompt and professional response for a personal matter. Thus, The Gratitude Wall was added. Every RRC member is invited to contribute by sharing a brief note about a fellow RRC member in our club who made a difference - whether that be personal support, professional advice/counsel or leadership without recognition. Service reflects the very heart of Rotary and by collecting the notes of gratitude, we not only lift each other up but also showcase the everyday examples that inspire us all. Each submission layers the spirit of gratitude that strengthens our club and our community.
