The Griffin Daybreak and Griffin Rotary Clubs collaborated to help the community by supplying 100 box fans to individuals without air conditioning free of charge. These fans were distributed on a first come first serve basis to many in need of relief during the heat wave. In addition, the two clubs worked together to provide free bottles of cold water during the 4th of July Parade.

Griffin Daybreak also passed out free water bottles to participants in the Beat the Heat program sponsored by the Spalding County Fire Department.
