Our Foundation at Work
Griffin’s Community Grant Buys Playground Equipment

The Rotary Club of Griffin’s District Grant was used to purchase playground equipment for New Horizons New Directions Preparatory Academy in Griffin. New Horizons is a private school whose founder was inspired by a strong desire to not only help students succeed academically but also to help students become champions for life. NHND Prep pledges to offer a positive difference in the lives of students, their families and the community. Before installing the swings and mulch (spread by club members on a rainy day!), the students had almost no playground equipment. It has been a treat for Rotarians to ride by the school and see the swing set in use.
