Buckhead Serves Dinner at Shepherd Center

Patients recovering from spinal cord and brain injuries at the Shepherd Center enjoyed a family-style dinner served by 15 Buckhead Rotarians and their guests who turned out for an evening of volunteering serving a family-style dinner for the patients and their families before joining in on a spirited game of bingo.

Senoia Installs Raised Garden Beds at Park of Hope

The Senoia Rotary Club recently completed a community service project at the Park of Hope in Senoia, installing raised vegetable beds with support from a Rotary District 6900 grant. Club members worked together to prepare the site, install landscape fabric, set the beds, and spread gravel, creating a space designed to support community gardening and hands-on learning.

Buckhead Holds Paws in the Park, a Family of Service Day

Buckhead's recent Dog for a Day outing brought together 28 volunteers, (22 Rotarians and guests plus six girls from Scouting America), and seven shelter dogs (with three extra pups joining the fun) for a 2½-mile stroll. It was truly a walk in the park, filled with fresh air, wagging tails, and lots of laughs. The dogs enjoyed a well-deserved break from the shelter and the chance to explore new sights and smells.
